Different Ways to Organize Mops and Brooms

May 20, 2013
A previously unused nook in our house, is now home to our Swiffer, broom, and dustpan. You can see from the photo below that we used a wall-mounted Broom and Mop Holder. It does a great job of keeping cleaning tools off the floor and looks neat and organized too!

There are a lot of creative ways to keep mops, brooms and other cleaning tools organized and here are a few I found online:

Hang mops, brooms, and dustpans using tool hooks, which can be purchased at hardware stores. If you have spare back-of-the-door space in your home, you can use it to hang cleaning tools.

Colorful cleaning supplies plus a pegboard in a nice solid color, equals a bright and cheerful storage space!

If you're lucky enough to have a closet that you can dedicate to storing cleaning supplies, normal hooks can work just fine for hanging brooms and dustpans, as long as the handles have holes in them.
